How Long is a Phase 1 ESA Good For?

A Phase 1 ESA is usually valid for one year from completion. However, the validity of the survey may be extended beyond one year if additional information that would affect the results is gathered.

You may need a new survey if the property is surrounded by areas that undergo significant changes, such as new construction and development.

Be sure to keep any relevant documentation and reports related to your survey in case the survey needs to be updated or extended.
